Too many are hard to discover, and the places you’d look them up are often out of date. manx.directory fixes both - one home for every Island business, kept current by the people who actually run them.

Ask anyone on the Island and they’ll tell you about a brilliant little business tucked away somewhere - a workshop, a café, a tradesperson - that hardly anyone knows exists. The Isle of Man is full of them.

The trouble is being found. Word of mouth only travels so far, and not every small business has the time - or the inclination - to build and keep up a social media presence just to get noticed. The directories people fall back on, meanwhile, are often dated, half-abandoned or full of numbers that no longer ring. Good businesses get missed - and people give up and go off-Island instead.

Every business here is added and updated by its owner. Opening hours, contact details, photos and descriptions come straight from the source - and change the moment the business does. Listings are confirmed by email and can be edited any time, so what you see is what’s actually true today, not something scraped years ago and left to rot.

Made on the Isle of Man by OLXR

manx.directory is built and run by OLXR Ltd, an Isle of Man company. We kept hitting the same frustration - knowing there was a local business for whatever we needed, but not being able to find it, or turning up details that were plain wrong. So we built the directory we wished existed: modern, accurate, and kept up to date by the businesses themselves.
