BuildASkill Ltd is a private training and assessment company based in Ramsey, Isle of Man, that specialises in delivering regulated National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) for the local construction industry. All qualifications are achieved directly in the workplace. This allows employed tradespeople and apprentices to learn and prove their trade while actively working. Specialist Trades Offered: a wide variety of construction disciplines, including: Wall & Floor Tiling (Level 2) Roof Slater & Tiler (Level 2) Window Fitting (Level 2) Floor Coverings (Level 2) Waterproof Membrane( Level 2) Plastering (Level 2) Insulation & Building Treatments (Level 2) Occupational Work Supervision (Level 3) Construction Site Supervision (Level 4) Open enrollment structure, allowing businesses and individuals to sign up at any time with an assessment timetable tailored to fit the business's schedule. BuildASkill works closely with the Isle of Man Department of Education, Sport and Culture (DESC). For eligible candidates, courses are financed by the department so that the apprentices do not have to fund the training themselves.

Do I need to be in employment to train with BuildASkill?
Yes, you need to be employed and working in a relevant trade in order to complete your qualification.
How much will I have to pay in order to train with you?
If you are eligible, all courses are financed by the Department of Education Sport and Culture. We will help you apply for funding
How long will it take to get my qualification?
This all depends on you! An NVQ generally takes two years to complete, however, you may be able to achieve your qualification in as little as three months if you are expereinced.
